How to Get to
Hin Nam No National Park

By Air

International travelers typically arrive in Laos through one of the following airports:

• Wattay International Airport (Vientiane – VTE)

• Luang Prabang International Airport (LPQ)

From these airports, travelers continue by domestic flight or overland transport to central Laos.

Getting to Thakhek (Main Gateway)

While Thakhek does not currently have a major commercial airport, travelers can:

• Fly to Vientiane or Savannakhet

• Continue to Thakhek by road

Thakhek is well connected by road and can be reached by:

• Savannakhet → Thakhek (approx. 3–4 hours)

• Nakhon Phanom (Thailand) → Thakhek
  via the Third Thai–Lao Friendship Bridge

• Travel time: approximately 2–3 hours

Local buses and shared minivans operate to nearby districts such as Boualapha, but schedules may be limited and subject to change. From these points, additional local transport or arrangements are required to access specific areas of the park.
